Guidance on using Health & Safety, Risk Assessments, COSHH and Incident Reports
The Health and Safety Manual sets out Riverdale Falls' overall approach to managing workplace risks and meeting our legal duties. Our Risk Assessments and COSHH Assessments (both in accordion format below) are not forms you fill out for every job – they're ready-made guidance documents to support you in working safely, especially when learning new tasks or working in unfamiliar conditions. New starters must read and sign off relevant ones during induction to confirm understanding, and if an incident occurs where basic risks appear to have been ignored, you'll be reassessed to ensure you're fully aware of the hazards and controls (this is good practice under HSE guidance). Use the Incident Report Form straight away to log any accidents, near misses or unsafe conditions – it's quick, online, and helps us learn and improve without blame.
All documents are reviewed regularly and staff are encouraged to provide feedback to keep them practical and effective. If you can't find what you need or spot something that needs updating, contact the office at accounts@riverdalenaturalwaterfeatures.co.uk or use the website Contact Us Form.
